I wasn't saying anything about the honor not meaning anything I was answering a previous posters post get the sand out of your vag.

I actually liked booty coming out of HS and wish he would have come to LSU then and not waited until his baseball career tanked.

He only played one real team his entire career. Haynesville. And they beat evangel by like 60 points. Other than that it was basically JV opponents.

actually they went to west monroe and played them the year they were national champions and lost 24-20 I believe and evangel was 2A while monroe was 5A.

thats also the same year that haynesville went to west monroe and lost by a very slim margin.

Stop with that 2A shite. ECA was pulling players from all over the region to build the program. That school was the very definition of football factory.

Your history is way off.

Evangel and west Monroe didn't start playing until way after Booty.

Evangel was 1A in his days.

Old school 1A. Not Lhasa mandated 1A

Josh Booty never beat anyone other than Arcadia when he played

Booty graduated in '94. Was supposed to finish in '93, but after the first week of his freshman year at Captain Shreve (5A) he was "saved" and transferred to ECA as an 8th grader. Miraculously his transcripts were lost and ECA never got caught. I went to Loyola and we played them 2 years in a row beating him both times, second time badly. Our senior year they played Hayensville and lost. I believe Josh broke his hand after the game by hitting a wall.

None of what you said was accurate. At all. Not even close. Really, really bad post. WM and Evangel didn't play until a jamboree in 98. Haynesville lost 21-0 to WM in 93 at Haynesville. They beat WM 16-7 at WM in 94. WM didn't make the playoffs that year. That's actually the last time WM missed the playoffs.

SERIOUSLY DUDE? You posted this for what reason?

Plenty of players don't like other players. The only idiot would be the one who says I won't do ________ because I don't like this person for _______ reason(s).

I can't even believe I'm responding to this post.

His records were "lost." Principal at Captain Shreve was a member of the church associated with ECA, if I remember correctly. I had friends who had classes with him at Shreve their freshman year in that first week and then he was gone. Not that this was unique to Evangel but they were bad about holding guys back in 8th grade, called it 8+. There was lots of discussion around here during that time that his eligibility should have started in 1990, not '91. He was though without a doubt one of the best high school quarterbacks/athletes around during that time.

Evangel and WM tied in jamboree 1st meeting. Evangel won 20-14 in the dome 1st year in 5A . WM only beat ECA 1 time in 2001 reg. season. ECA won all other meetings including 4-0 record in the dome. Berlin was QB in 99, JD Booty in 01,02, and Denny Rodney Duron in 03,04.
