LSU wins 34-13.

LF has 14 carries and gets 129 yards.

DGuice has 16 carries and gets 139 yards.

BHarris is 19-29-0 for 262 yards.

Our D line will not be as good as many here think. In fact, our D line will be our major weakness as a team all year long.

Special teams will improve and be a strength.

Dave Aranda becomes Louisiana's favorite citizen as our D returns to dominance.

We underperform, we win a tight game, absolutely nothing changes. Now THAT is a bold strategy Cotton.

Badgers have to earn everyone's respect every year. They always seem too. I think they hang tough but our depth wins out In the end. let's hope weather and field conditions are dry. Speed is are biggest advantage. We will get wiskys best so it's a 7-10 point win if we play sloppy. If Harris plays like a junior veteren qb should and isn't held back then I see a 17-21 point win. I'm gonna go with the latter and say Lsu wins 34-17.

BH: 18/25 340 yards...4 TDS...no picks!

Buga/Guice still go for over 200 yds together.

LSU gets off to a slow start, down by 11 at half time (3-14). Team finally shows up in the second half and shuts Wisky out in the second half. 31-14 LSU.

Typically LSU looks very ragged in openers. This year, with 17 returning starters including the QB, I think they'll look good. I predict LSU rolls big. It will be about a 62-38 run-pass ratio until LSU goes into lock down. A lot of running after that.

LSU wins 45-17. Fournette will appear healthy and get most of the runs. Chark with one or two targets only.

1. Toss dive off guard to Fournette is the first offensive play 2. LSU wins

CLM will troll us by not running the toss dive until the fourth series. Then he will call it four straight plays since we're already up 17-0.

The 17 (or 14) margin seems reasonable, but Les won't want to risk a further injury to Fournette if he has a lead in the 4th quarter. So 150 yards seems more reasonable.

You might be surprised about who Aranda manages to spring for sacks. Your best pass rusher might be more of a decoy.

Early in the season, a decent (I'm not saying great) team like Wisconsin is hard to blow out. Injuries haven't piled up and Les will want to be trying out various combos. Later in the season a blow out might be more likely. But this early on I rather doubt it.

Given their tough schedule this year, I doubt the Badgers will have as many as ten wins again, even though I'm confident the team will be better offensively and maybe about the same defensively.

I really hope we dont have to witness this against Wisky...cuz it will mean we haven't changed a damn thing and we're right back trying to force a square peg in a round hole.
