What are the odds that by the end of the season Boise could play one of the SEC-West teams in a Bowl game? I would love to see Boise play Arkansas or Auburn... or even LSU (if it were for the NC).

Or TCU, or any of these weak conf teams that build a great record and ranking on beating up on nobody teams.

I understand the argument that they shouldn't be totally disregarded just because they happen to play a weak schedule, but without any other viable solution, they sure as hell shouldn't get preference over teams that play tough opponents and still come through it with the same/slightly worse record.

Boise could beat anyone on any given day but a playoff would weed their arse out. They ain't winning 3 in a row against top talent.

I think Boise or TCU could beat us this year.

TCU would actually be the tougher matchup I think. We would score little against their D and their O is good enough to give us problems.

I think Boise or TCU could beat anyone in the country if they had 4 weeks to prepare, like previous bowl wins, or an entire offseason like Va Tech and Oregon in previous years.

The problem that I have with Boise and TCU is that I do not think they have the depth of talent that it takes to compete with Ark, Ala, Aub, Florida, MSU, Tenn, WVU, Vandy, and Ole Miss throughout the course of a season. shite, I have seen Boise taken to the wire in WAC games, but they pulled those out. If they would have those letdowns in the SEC, they would be destroyed. That is the problem.

The other problem is that as long as they play 1 or two top teams a year and win, people will still praise them as world-beaters, when in fact they simply prepared and played a 1 or 2 game schedule. Whoopdi fricking doo. I was cool with Boise when they were getting BCS at-large bids. I am not cool with them in the NC talk.

I think the SECW will have enough teams playing in good bowl games that it may happen that one them gets to play Boise or TCU.

It's not that they couldn't beat an SEC team. It's that they would go 4-4 if they had to play the standard SEC schedule.

I was talking last night with a friend about this, and he said that they wouldn't stand a chance. I disagree, I told him I would put Boise up against anybody for one game, but they would never make it through SEC play undefeated.

I think Boise and TCU could prepare enough for a game and maybe beat any team ONCE though!!! They could not win throughout an SEC schedule.. that is the problem I have with NC talk too. Any team can be beat on any day. See SC week off to prepare for a off their game AL. then to lose to Kentucky the next week! I think the Hawaii Georgia game proved a lot 3 years ago and then an 2 Loss SEC to beat up on the big 10 for the Ship too!

just got through talking to a guy at work about it....he thinks Boise should play for the NT if they run the table...I told him, yeah they could beat anyone on any given day, but they dont deserve to be there....

they would not come out of the SEC or Pac Ten unscathed, im sorry, not happening...if you wanna pout, go join a real conference, you had your chance to join the pac 10 but they joined the mountain west anyway...its their fault...i dont feel sorry for them at all...

Having seen TCU in person this year, LSU blows them out. Boise will be exposed.
