has struggled in each of our 3 recent losses ...if you go back and look at game tape of our SEC clinching win at rupp, when bo was in the game we had about a +15 point differential..when he was out of the game we were around -10...taz & thorton score our points but he's the like the office manager at work...he's the glue that sticks our team together...he's the spinal cord of the human being...he passes well, defends well, & shoots NBA 3-pointers...we need him to step up this week!

bo fricking spencer

He hasn't been able to drive. Every team we have played, have closed him off to the goal.

He's definately the QB on the floor. If he can find his shot and along with a few baskets from GT, just somebody getting hot, lock down on Defense/stay out of foul trouble, we'll be in good shape. We've got the players to crash the boards and beat some heads in.

No, he should be the QB on the floor but he is not. He takes MANY ill advised shots. I don't see him as a true point guard - not at all. He wants to score far too much to be a true point guard.

He reminds me of Janero Pargo in the manner he forces things.

Last game spencer had 0 assists in 32 minutes. Chris bass had 4 in 8 minutes. Point guards pass first, shoot later. Bo needs to step it up if we want to make a run.

I feel like bo has been making some really dumb decisions in the last couple of games. I think when we are struggling on offense he often tries to make up for it by scoring and ends up forcing his shot. I think if he just relaxes a little bit and continues to try to work the ball to some of our better scorers it will help us out. And he will still have his opportunity to score if he is just patient and lets it come to him.

Imo, Bo is trying too hard. Bo is great making them on the fast break but the guy is too small to try and force a lay up or 6 footer in front of defenders. He needs a body like Mitchell's or Marcus to be able to do that..

That being said they need to dish it out to Mitchell more just to draw fouls and put the opposing team in fouls trouble. They don't do that much.

Bo did well against Kentucky in the SEC Tourney. Also, Thornton did poorly against Miss State. Hopefully, everything is clicking for all of them come Thursday, and we get back on the winning streak.

we had 6 TO against Miss St....I think he did his job! Because we have no post offense, teams are playing a lot of man which makes it tougher to drive the ball against! When they do zone up, its rotated towards taz and marcus, so Bo often times has the best shot!

I think this is an unfair analysis based on how he played all season.

I think there is definitely something wrong with Bo's shot right now, due to one of his injuries. He's had some really ugly misses and his stroke just doesn't look like it did earlier in the season. I think his injuries are jacking up his mechanics.

Based on the rate at which he was nailing 3's from any distance for 4/5 of the season, I'd say his shot selection is fine. We just need him to get well.

I think it's 2 things with Bo.
1) He looks tired right now.
2) He's still fighting injuries.

We need him to play well, for us to have a chance. He's our 3rd scoring option behind MT and TM. When he's making his 3's it opens up MT alot. Hopefully he gets his legs back by Thurs.

He's no threat in the paint at all, throws up wild shots or loses the ball, he's a turnover machine, a liability there. Where he does help is in the outside shooting and bringing the ball up court, but beyond that, he's been ineffective.

2cents,He may be hurt, and also Bo's shooting form,is definitely aligned for long distance, feet turned to the left at 45deg, ball held over his right shoulder, close to his head starting point, and his arm is always straight. 'He's a missile launcher'. But if he doesn't make sure his feet are aligned 45 degrees, on every shot, his upper body, has stress on his shot.Yeah if your tired the feet don't go right.

One problem he's having is he drives to to left of the goal to much,he's not left handed, so he has to finish with his right , which doesn't allow him to streched out and become taller on his lay up.

"Players play dumb and set you up for the pass", another 2 cents
