That kind of protection is the only way he came on board. We gave him a comfy position with no incentive to put any sort of passion into his job. He already had it made, had no hunger, and it showed.
After whiffing spectacularly on Freeman I fear that’s the kind of hire we’ll fall back on.

He’s also going to have a helluva tax bite. Not sure why he or we would have wanted to make it one lump sum payment but I guess everyone has their reasons.

If he thinks taxes will go up in future, which seems like a reasonable assumption in the current polotical environment, it may be a wise move.

Pelini makes me nauseous. It’s one thing if you fail while being a tireless worker and do everything in your power to help your players succeed. The reports on him confirmed the exact opposite. What a waste of LSU’s time.
