Slot value of $755,500.

So going pro now will depend on how much he has wanted to play for LSU while growing up in St. Amant.

What was said is that Minnesota would be our least advantageous team to pick Enlow because they have a lot of 'cap room' to divvy. Do they get Enlow to sign, possibly; but the difference in the 76th picks cap and what Enlow wants is significantly different.

Depends on how much under slot they'll give Lewis and Leach. I wouldn't bet on Enlow coming IMO.

They had all night to talk about a deal. He must have told them he'll take the offer.

The Twins have enough to give him a lot more than this.

The question is, "What would you do if you were him?" If he takes the money, I don't blame him.

Correct, the way they'll sign Enlow is by going heavily under slot on Lewis the #1 overall pick or a combination of all three picks ahead of him.

He is gone. Twins have most money to spend. Don't waste time. Quit projecting him as starter

They are not going to lose that slot $$$ which would happen if they do not sign Enlow. If they are 1.5 under slot and offer him 2.2 million, how could you not go?

They probably saved 3 mill by drafting the guy they drafted 1.1. They have enough to sign enlow and another guy like him

Twins saved 2million on the first guy they took. Enlow will get 2M plus

Pretty sure twins had the offer accepted before they drafted him in the 3rd round

I wish that they would change the rules. Why is baseball any different than basketball? What percentage of these high school kids that make the jump actually make it to the majors? I think it's bad for the kids and the colleges .

It's really bad for the kids to get millions coming out of high school?

I see your point for late round picks, but top 3 round money can set them up for life

Best of luck to him in the pros!

You think it's a good idea to give a a 17 year old kid 2 million lol? How fast do you think an immature kid will burn through that money? If He doesn't make it to the majors and he burned through that cash . Then what???
