is 8-3 **updated, now 10-3**

we were 5-6 in the 11 games before BK got here **6-7 in previous 13**

that is objective improvement, not opinion

as pathetic as the defense looks, if he goes 6-2 again for a 12-4 start, he shouldn't lose support from objective fans

however, if the defense doesn't get better and we stumble to 4-4 then year 3 is a fork in the road

**updated 10/16/23**

GTFO with this common sense, level-headedness.

8-4. You left out UGA probably, but I get your point.

What players are coming that will make the D noticeably better next year?

no realistic shot at 6-2 this year...gonna likely split AU & Mizzou, split UF & aTm, and lose to bama...4-4 is looking real!

6-4 in the last 10 is what matters. And 4 of those 6 wins includes 2 wins over Arkansas, Grambling, and Perdue.

Bama will stomp our a$$e$...T-Town and revenge game. 7-5 is what I see. With losses to Auburn and TAM. Hell lucky we beat ARK. Otherwise 6-6. That is reality.

It’s not about players coming, it’s about the players we currently have being more experienced.

We will be in a much better situation next year with a more experienced Denver Harris, Stamps, & Welch

Absolutely it is. We have zero quality depth. If we don't reload fast, those 3 players will not be enough.

Well yeah, we need depth at the position, but we’re bad on defense this year because of inexperience. We need to bring in more talent to have depth, but we need experience to compete in the SEC

And coach O put together the best football team of all time. It is technically a fact. Does that make him the best coach of all time? We saw improvement in year one but there are also some redflags that are popping up.

He didn’t put together shite. He was a moron and a grifter in the right place at the right time.

Let's not delude ourselves. Aranda and Ensminger ran the show. Ed was nothing more than a figurehead that caught lightning in a bottle. The remaining years proved as much.

Why, when Kelly has been here less than 1 and a half seasons does 10 make it matter most? I dont see any logic to that. 8-4 so far in the SEC. 2-2 if you wanna go back to last 4 SEC games including a 15-0 juggernaut of a team.

Now do his overall record vs top 25/10 teams. It’s horrendous.

This guy isn’t who we thought he was.

Lower level talent with less experience. They will improve, and Harris could end up exceptional, but not the rest.

Barring 8-9 incredible defensive pickups for next year, we will still not have a championship caliber D.

You must consider that CEO completely left the team bankrupt of players. However, the lack of tackling is clearly of coaching problem.
