Bk is starting off on a good track by firing Moffit. Lsu has been a soft program for quite some time. Firing moffit guaranteed that lsu will no longer lose to soft non conference teams such as Troy etc…how many games have we watched that were sec play and lsu was clearly the less physical team in and out? I always questioned why our Gus never looked more physical and athletic as other sec teams. Most of the loses to Bama they (Bama) was the most PHYSICAL team. I think this was a good decision by Bk.

It was a very good decision. I trust his judgement. DBesides, he's the new head man now. You can't handcuff him by forcing him to retain staff he doesn't want. I appreciate everything that Moffitt has done, but it's time to move on from him.

The only reasons Moffit was fired now and not other assistants is that he is not involved in recruiting, coaching or game planning for the bowl game. It also gives him a better opportunity to start looking for a new position.

I’m speaking of the physicality of the players. Example, “ ucf player laying a body crushing hit on burreaux”. “Skalski vs the entire lsu backfield in championship game”. Lsu consistently lost to Notre Dame because LSU wasn’t a physical team. Bama wiped their ashes with us because they were hitting to kill. After 2013 our guys got soft some how.
