Bill O'Brien - Coaching option if Jimbo/Herman say no?

Let me first say that I have no idea if he would be interested but this guy would be a solid hire. Harbaugh, Saban, and Petrino all left NFL head coaching gigs to coach in college again
He is a great QB coach. Last year with the Texans he had Mallett, Yates, and Hoyer as his QB's and as a group they threw for 29 TD's and only 12 interceptions. He's never had a losing season as a coach
He was Offensive coordinator under Belichek with the Patriots. Then went to Penn State the year after Sandusky stuff went down (probably hardest coaching situation ever) and led them to an 8-4 record and won National coach of the year. Remember how good Christian Hackenburg was then all of a sudden he fell off the map? Happened after O'Brien left.
I would love Jimbo first but if it doesn't happen and IF O'Brien would rather be a college coach than NFL, he would be a solid name to consider

Uh, he's got a pretty good gig in the NFL. He's not voluntarily coming back to coach college.

Hey he is leaving a division winning Texas to come here. Talk about purple and gold glasses.

let's go higher: what about bill belichick?

Why would he leave the Texans. I expect them in the playoffs out of that division

Harbaugh was fired, Saban and Petrino quit because they weren't doing well!

If he's never had a losing season in the NFL why tf would he want to come back?
