If Christian's gets packed Little Woodrow's heights is right there. And to make it more confusing there is a LW on Shepard.

And there is a Woodrow's (not big or little) on Shepherd too... about 2 blocks from LW.

So what place Christians, Woodrows, or Little Woodrows would be the best place with the most LSU fans Saturday and is not to out of the way to get to the stadium? Looking for somewhere to take my dad and 9 year old during the day to watch games before heading to the stadium.

Consider Little Woodrows in Rice Village or one on Bellaire Blvd (by train tracks in West U). There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings in Rice Village.

This area is 5 minutes from stadium.

I'm an avid Texas Country/Red Dirt music fan, so I'm already aware that none of the bands I'd want to see (Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Stoney LaRue, The Damn Quails, Josh Abbott, Reckless Kelly, etc.)
that sounds bad and you should feel bad

Do you or any others know about the secondary ticket market around NRG stadium...i.e. are sellers generally located at the Lite Rail stop or elsewhere ?

To me he sounds like a member of LSU Houston ALumni Chapter and wants to inform everyone that Big Wood's is no longer an LSU bar. And the new "official" bar is Christian's, which is better IMO.

I have no reason to try to steer other than I am a member of the chapter and just informing that were done with Big Woodrow's! Thanks

lso seems a bit upset that new management kicked out the LSU fans

When did this happen?

I was there for the Georgia game last year and the place to filled to the brim with LSU fans. Did all the chants with the music and everything.

Would really like to find out the story of what happened? I'm not sure if the Alumni Chapter made unreasonable demands, or a personal rift between management of Big Woodrows and a member of the alumni chapter? Did a member want free or half priced drinks for themselves and were declined? After looking at their website its evident that they want our business, so what prompted the bad mouthing of BigWoodrows?

Bump I'm at Christian's Mid-Town. Not impressed with the place. First off, I don't see a single LSU flag in the building which is strange if it's the new "official" spot. It's pretty damn small for an LSU takeover. Also my "medium" burger had no pink, was too salty, and the fries were from Sysco not hand cut.

Also beer menu is rather meh. Little Woodrow's 2 blocks away has tons more beer and about 3x the size. No food IIRC though.

I believe the actual spot is Christian's in the Heights. Not sure if that makes any difference or not.

Regardless, I'll probably go there (Christian's in the Heights) anyway when I'm not at the games since it's 4 blocks from my house.
