Will they continue to pipe in that horrible music between each down or will the band go back to playing the traditional stuff between downs with the Golden Girls doing their routine for each song? Had some folks sitting next to us who hadn't been to a game in a couple of years & they couldn't believe the band was being replaced by piped in music.

Only complaint about the piped in music is that it isn't loud enough. Someone needs to tell them to turn the volume up.

???

I wasn't there but on TV it sounded like the band was playing the normal down cheers, and Tiger-Bandits on turnovers. Are you saying there were times the band didn't play the traditional 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down cheers?

I found it was actually on par with how it's been for the past 10 years or so...

No shite, that stuff was awful. Only between down band music was after successful 3rd down stands...

Yeah, but playing Old Time Rock and Roll between downs is the opposite of getting hype.

piped in music is terrible, not just at Tiger Stadium but the others as well.

College football isn't a nightclub. Stick with the traditional marching band stuff. The piped in shite is garbage.

That's probably one of the songs that the OP approves of.

Yeah, I hate that Texas Club crab they play before each game.

I went to the Alabama-LSU game last year in Tuscaloosa. The only time the bama band played in the stands was when bama scored and after the game. UA has the most piped in music and cheerleading (Scott Cochran) I have ever experienced. The bama band even marches out to piped in music!

You obviously weren't in the north end zone.

The admins don't want to hear to opposing team's band when they're on offense. They play the piped-in music to drown them out. Or so I've been told...

The piped in music at Lambeau was horrible too. I barely ever heard our band.

State was the same way last year. Apparently a lot of schools are going this route. Its terrible of course. It was deafening at times in the south endzone.

Irish LSU fan will soon be here to bitch about how this is all the new administrations fault.

I'm not a big fun of all the new piped in music between downs. It sounded really obnoxious on tv this past weekend. Can't imagine how bad it was at the game

Yes, and the second and third down cheers too. I remember saying, "man I hope I don't keep hearing this third down song all night."
