Freshman from Michigan. Early in his high school career was a top prospect if not the top prospect. As his high school career went on at SS and his body got bigger and he started losing range his draft stock fell. Should be a good player for us in the future.

I thought he would be in our top 5 hitters. Johnson never seemed as confident.

So did I. We all saw last season though. Johnson is seeing him fresh this season. I think he is a gamer and come sec play he may actually start to do better.
Only thing that worries me is that Johnson gives up on him before he can figure it out again. We will see. Only way I see for him to come out is Berry playing LF and Merrifield at 3B. I think Gio is playing is way to a starting role.
