We might just post up and hang. Thinking, by everyone's posts we'll catch him anywhere from 7:00 a.m. through about 10:30 p.m. We should be good! Haha..

Hmmm...active? Good luck. Tigers sleep (nap) about 20 hours a day. When he's not sleeping, he's not necessarily "active" either. Mike doesn't have to hunt for his food so he's even less active than a wild tiger. It's definitely hit or miss. But, when he's up and frisky, he's awesome!

Is this a joke about a generation of tigers or some sort of sarcastic commendation for me going to class?

Definitely early in the morning, around 730-800 AM when he first comes out of his night house. He takes his stroll around the yard, is usually up on his logs, and takes a swim. He's very interactive and inquisitive most mornings, too.

Don't forget he's half-Siberian. It's in his DNA to be happy in cold weather. About all he wants to do up in the heat of these Baton Rouge summer days is lay around and sleep.

Was mid 60's this morning and will be close to record lows Wednesday and Thursday. It felt great this morning. You have to actually wake up early though

Probably on the morning of game day when the big pussy cowers in the corner like a baby

I love Mike but hate that they don't lure him into his trailer anymore - really sucks

So you hate Mike the Tiger, Drew Brees, and Sean Payton

You're in the wrong state

Early in the morning shortly after the sun rises, or just before dark when the sun is setting. Tigers hate the heat. And cinnamon.

Just try to catch him early because he doesn't do much in the heat.

Also, I am sure you could find out how to get in touch with trainers and get the feeding times. That MIGHT be another idea.

here is a link to a webcam that broadcasts from his habitat...might want to check in on it at various times of day to see if you can catch a pattern of his activity...
