Every year we have the same thread about this time. Here are the general rules:

1) Leave the mic at home where it belongs.

2) There are 1,000 ways to get a clean version of any song in existence. Don't play your uncut rap songs @ 150dbs please.

3) When making your playlists keep the proximity of people around your spot in mind. Don't be rude.

4) It's not a competition. Everyone is out there to have a good time. It's not the place for your volume battle.

5) For the love of God play LSU music at some point. There's a group next to us that plays nothing buy country music all day long. It's silly.

Ev zlx 12's powered speakers , 600 watts , has a 1/8 input , plug in phone turn on and your done . Best stereo I've ever owned , and I've owned plenty. If your real particular , get a cheap 2 channel mini mixer , done . You won't be disappointed I promise you .

25 watt Fender guitar amp, loaded I-pod and a patch cord. Turn it up.

Bose are great until they break. And they will break... I've experienced this twice

I guess our sample sizes are both too small - I've got speakers, headphones, wireless speakers...all still sound great (home speakers probably 30-40 yrs old), only repair ever made was from wearing out the headphone jack
