I know some will disagree with what I say here. Nevertheless, I am going to say it (and be blasted by some, no doubt).

The best part of the entire game yesterday was seeing the combined group of Tigers and Dawgs kneeling to pray at the end. I know it's not all the members of both teams, but seeing that many young men bow in prayer AFTER a big game where some are really thankful they won and others are dejected because they lost does my soul good. They appear to realize that football, although important to them, is not the MOST important thing in life.

My Wife and Nephew asked what they were doing. After I explained, nephew's response was "Cool!"

You're wrong.. The best part was when georgia was running on to the field and the human mascot ran over the cheerleader

+1. I couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't stop rewinding it on DVR. Between that and Les' pre-game interview, I was cracking up.

I loved that. It showed class on both sides.

Had my 12 year old daughter & two of her friends in the room with me at the end of the game and pointed that out to them. They all thought that was pretty cool.

I agree that was a nice moment. But I don't think I'd have turned in to watch just that. I would have turned in to watch the game without that. So I can't say it was the best moment of the game for me.

The football game was over, time to thank God for the blessing of life to be able to play football and the safety of all players

Pointed it out to my kids. I know all my teams I played on growing up did this.
