Best LSU baseball offense

Could this years team be the best offense LSU has had since they deadened the bats (2011)?
At time of post, LSU has scored 50 runs in 21 innings.

I don’t know about the year but this is the best opening series since at least 1991. I stopped looking after that because that’s good enough for me.

We actually have a HC now that gets the most out of his lineup. And the year they hit 188 homers I don’t think the bats were deadened….

Stupid take…..what I’m saying is that knowing our delusional fan base most of them will expect this output every weekend.

And no, I do expect the offense to be very very good. Also I think it’s very premature to judge them based on the pitching we are facing this weekend.

If we play Maine every weekend, no doubt this will be the greatest LSU offense.
Once we hit SEC play, we will know much more. I am glad we are all excited though.

This team is going to be good. Really good. Pitching will obviously need to work through some kinks, but there is absolutely no easy out 1-9 this year. We are going to be able to score at will, the amount of talent we have is pretty insane

I don’t think anyone will disagree with anything you said there. There are also many variables involved in a successful offensive team and I’m not quite ready to crown them after facing this horrible pitching staff. We for sure have the depth and some serious talent, excited to see where this team might go.

You assumed that by me wanting to wait before crowning our bats the greatest of all time that I should go on record saying this team won’t be good. Based off of that alone you might be one of those fans that will change their tune with one sub-par weekend. Let it play out
