I saw some glaring issued on D which overall played pretty well...

I think Divinity will be a beast but is not right now, seemed a little lost which is expected.

Davon Gaudcheaux looked so out of shape, was walking around a bit against a basic O. Valentine played well.

Tolliver did not impress me one bit.

I don't believe Riley is the answer at ILB.

I saw an OL that was manhandled by high motor guys in WISC.

I trust Aranda to get the defense fixed. It was their first time going out against a team that was familiar with Aranda's scheme.

I agree, hopefully it will get in gear. I also thought that Key played a little weak, if he want's to make it in the league he will have to get a lot stronger. I believe I saw a thread on here where he had lost a bunch of weight.

I hate to do it but look at Tim Williams-which I think Key can be better.

happens when you're on the field the entire game. Defense should have been tired.

WRs accounted for 89 yards receiving. Their tight end had 100 yards. Our DBs are not responsible for covering the TE

agree with this. Their OL was fantastic

All things considered, defense played fine. They made some first game mistakes, but our offense did absolutely nothing to help them. Considering they were on the field for about 40 minutes, I'd say only allowing 16 points was pretty damn good. WIsconsin has a good running back and a great OL, yet they still only managed 134 yards rushing on a tired defense.

Right. Coaches and players were familiar with the scheme and it was our first game implementing it. I think the next 2-3 weeks the defense will gel. Now if we could just punt the ball more than 25 yards, that might give us enough of a chance to be competitive in games.

They might run a "basic" offense, but there is nothing basic about Wisconsin in the trenches on either side of the ball.

Their offensive line is very good. Their defensive line can stop the run. They are strong up front. As we've seen, teams who are able to stand up to LSU in the trenches have given us the most problems recently (Alabama, Arkansas, Wisconsin).

Now, Wisconsin might very well go on and finish 8-4 this season, but that's only because they play a brutal Big Ten schedule (and overall when you consider they opened with us). But honestly, they are a good team. Does it excuse our shitty play and porous offense? Of course not. But they are a good team nonetheless.

he's a speed rusher and fit to be an OLB in a 3-4 defense. He had 2 sacks yesterday and 6 tackles. I'd say he did his job

Godchaux played extremely well. Valentine played a bit inconsistent in my opinion. Defense had guys at every level making plays. We had no chance in the first half. They dominated both sides of the ball at the point of attack. We did not need to give them a free 3 points at the end there. Should have punted that ball away.

I can agree with this

But not with this KT was solid in coverage (except that one play he slipped). That being said, Donte Jackson did look like the better CB

A player I was rooting for but looks too small

I noticed Davon in the 2nd qtr, hands on hip, standing by line of scrimmage a bunch. I specifically rewinded a couple of plays and showed them to a friend.

Just pointing out somethings giving Harris and Leslie a break.

I heard Tolliver has actually regressed from someone within the program. Didn't see anything special from him.

Shaq and Adams are superstars

midway through the second quarter, we had run 13 offensive plays to their 30. Through our first four possessions, we went three and out twice, had a 6 play drive, and fumbled on the first play of our fourth drive. I'm sure most of the defense was gassed

Tolliver wants no part of tackling, that's his only problem.
