And put Simmons on UNC's team and they are 18-0 instead of 16-2

Can he create his own shot, because if not this team would be in alot of trouble.

LSU has considerable potential, but as a group they can be way, way off at times. LSU's record would be the exact same with any player on any roster in the country. I'm not really sure how any observer can say otherwise.

He has 13 fricking double doubles and about to be 14

What does that have to do with his transition defense? This thread is about Simmons jogging down the floor and leaving his guy open under the goal.

Another double double or not, he has sucked so far this game AND shows the same erratic tendencies in other games I've seen. Shitty, unwarranted passes have lost this game - that and the Aggie zone defense.

Buddy Hield is by far the best player I've seen this year and I am no fan of the Sooners.

Yes he can unlike Simmons. The only time Simmons can is on a fast break or in a mismatch.

He's ridiculous, but LSU's front court would be pathetic without Simmons.

And did anyone mention that he doesn't fight for the ball on offense and would rather defer than showcase his inability to shoot?

No one is more critical of elite players than LSU fans.

I'm not saying he isn't elite.
I'm not saying he isn't the best NBA prospect in the country.
It's debatable if he is the #1 player in NCAA right now. (No doubt top 3 and no doubt most important on our team)
He's so tall, and so I understand that he may LOOK lazy, but the effort he puts into looking at the camera after a shot needs to be converted into getting back in transition D.

No excuses for leaving your teammates hanging out to dry. He's a big man, we need him to get the frick back.
