Ok we have a young quarterback that needs help developing, a coach that has experience in the SEC in some way shape or form, and someone who is a leader on the field/sideline. With all that being said I think that they should consider Peyton Manning. He is close to retirement, is one of the smartest minds in football, and is just a winner in general. I feel we could do a lot worse.

Why? It worked in the NBA, just look at Derrik Fisher and the Knicks.

Peyton would not be a good quarterback coach. The best players usually turn out to be not good at coaching. What great Hall of Fame player in the modern era turned out to be a great coach? Even if he did decide to coach college QBs he would coach at UT. He gives money and goes back there every year when he has the chance. He will probably either go into broadcasting or become what Elway did and go into front office work for NFL team.
