I'd say it's way too early to be claiming anyone as wrong
It was a nice win

Oh and what do you know he's in this thread and has Been being negative about this game and Canada, after he declared LSU was going to lose.
I seriously have no clue how you consider yourself an LSU fan. You constantly are negative. When they win you find excuses for why the wins were not good enough. Complete idiot.

It's not a sad threat. It's pathetic and sad that a number of posters are refusing to take their lumps and admit they were wrong.
What is sad is that instead of celebrating the win, some of you chose to shite on fellow posters.
LSU won.
Be happy.

Rick had a good post last night. He has converted over and is forgiven of his past sins.

The majority of Miles haters didn't like the Orgeron hire either, so if he is successful they'll still find a way to be miserable.
This isn't remotely true. I hated Miles mainly due to the fact that I'd rather get the shite beaten out of me by Mike Tyson every Saturday night than be forced to watch his boring, waste-of-talent, hardheaded Yankee brand of football. I like Orgeron because I feel like I've been getting my money's worth and getting the entertainment and enjoyment that I pay for since he took over.
I'm not one of the people on this board who obsesses over wins and rejoices in the fact that Miles was keeping us...afloat? We weren't winning championships nor were we ever going to win championships again under Miles, so I was pretty happy that we shifted gears and hired someone who's good at bringing an entertaining brand of football to us whether O wins championships or loses every game he coaches from here on out. Entertainment + Unknown level of success I.E. Orgeron >>>>>>> Boring as fricking shite + never being a complete dumpster fire but also never competing at a championship level again I.E. Miles IMO

How were you forced?
Was bondage involved?
What precisely is Yankee football?
Do all Yankee football teams play alike?
Is there a Confederate style of football?
Do all Confederate teams play alike?
Are you aware that the Civil War is over?
Are you aware of who won?

Both Miles fans and Miles haters are pretty much backed into a corner. Miles fans is self explanatory. The majority of Miles haters didn't like the Orgeron hire either, so if he is successful they'll still find a way to be miserable.
I was a Miles fan. Now I'm an Orgeron fan. I just choose to cheer really hard for our team and support the coach no matter who it is. Go figure.
Miles haters have a problem because they have to call for O's head if we go 9-3, lose a game we shouldn't, or have a low scoring win.

This.
The obsession with proving others wrong on here is almost pathological.
Be happy. Enjoy it. Don't read too much into it either way. Remember even mighty Saban lost to ULM in T-town once.

No one knows shite yet, it was one game against BYU who was severely overmatched athletically. This doesn't negate the fact that O did have the team well prepared and coached up. It was refreshing to see and I liked what I saw but BYU shouldn't be used as the measuring stick. So far so good though and it was a very nice start to the season.

Well there's the fact that I paid a huge TAF fee every year to sit in the stands bored as shite, because I certainly wasn't going to just quit going to the games and leaving early like everyone else who hated Les Miles' dog shite brand of football. Watch how much attendance improves this year

Wow you're such a smart, witty guy. Are you aware that "Yankee" isn't the inverse of "Conferedate", fricking dipshit? It's called Michigan/Wisconsin/Ohio State in the 80's "hard nosed" football where you line it up and run it down the middle every play. Pretty glad that I don't have to waste my money watching future Odell Beckham's and Jarvis Landry's run block 99% of the time anymore. Congrats on being a sidewalk fan who doesn't go to the games or understand football though

They shite on every poster with a viewpoint different than their own yet. It like discussing politics with an extremist, it's pointless. They are right and you are wrong, and if you don't believe me...just ask them. Miles needed to go, O may be a good/great/bad hire or whatever, but let things play out first. If not, his arse can be fired too. Asking these posters to come to their senses and celebrate a Tiger win must go against their agenda, whatever that is. Are there things to improve upon, of course. Even the gumps have some issues to work on. To the defeatist that want to waive the white flag, have at it. For me, I'm supporting the Tigers and our coaches.

Personally I hated the hire. But it's getting really hard not to get excited.

So you weren't forced. It was a freely made decision.

Full house and no one will leave early next week? A full Tiger Stadium is a lot of fun. You promise that this new offense will do it?

I wasn't aware that this is a recognized football genre. I am interested in this: would you rather LSU win a game 14-13 with a Yankee offense or lose one 54-53 with a not Yankee offense?

Where you were they each were grabbing 1,000 yards of passes? Of course since the pros like their WR's to block maybe it helped them?
I don't watch football games on the side walk.

Are you really this stupid? The "forced" part referred to being forced to watch awful football if I chose to use the season tickets which I pay for every year regardless of who our coach is.

Again, are you really that stupid? When did I say any of those things? I said that attendance will improve this year

It's called 3 yards and a cloud of dust, dipshit. It's so "recognized" that there's an actual name for it. Go learn a little bit then get back to me champ

I am not stupid.
You didn't like the offense that produced over 100 wins in 10 years? Ok I'm guessing that when you played high school football your team ran a version of the "run and shoot". Am I correct? And you expected the LSU team to do the same. Am I correct that you would have traded the wins for more "run and shoot"

Again, are you really that stupid?
Is the only way you can frame an argument is to call names. You promised increased attendance. I just wondered if that promise would be fulfilled this weekend? OK if not this weekend, the next?

Again with the childish name calling? Really you need to chill. Actually what it is called is "ball control run centered" offense. Well maybe just in the Yankee parts of the country.

Go learn a little bit then get back to me champ
Where would I go to do that? Here? Louisiana? A state that is practically last in any measurable of education? Is that where you learned about Yankee offenses?
Anyway I do wish your new coaches well although I wonder if they are going to continue to run a Yankee offense since they only passed a few times last night, ran a lot and ate up the clock. Maybe, just there are times a ball control run centered is appropriate.
