Because Les kept his job, Cameron should have been fired

The fact Miles dodged the pink slip last November is still miraculous, but if he didn't go, Cameron had to have been fired. Someone needed to be fired and face consequences from last year's debacle, because the philosophy of running into a 9-man box against the strong SEC defensive lines is not going to produce enough points to win in this modern age of football. Les' loyalty to his friends, his pride, and hard-headedness is going to turn him into the next Mack Brown instead of a hall-of-fame coach.

I bought into the change talk and the hype. There was no NFL exodus or lack of talent to blame. Les' philosophy will not win in today's football. Saban and Strong changed because if you can't beat it, you might as well do it too. Les has the talent, and he had 9 months to plan and did not. That is why he must be fired if he doesn't run the table or finishes with more than 2-3 losses

Harris can't pick up the basic offense Miles wants to run, a new coordinator would have made him worse since Miles still won't let them call plays

It's actually better both coordinators didn't change this offseason. It makes the excuses less plausible. Cameron has been coaching this QB now for his 3rd year including 3 spring football sessions with the same offense and core group of players. If he can't develop him and Miles hand picked him, why enable the scenario where there are more excuses like 1st year OC etc etc.

it is sort of amazing that the people who bought Les' bullshite about changing allowed him to then renew Cam's contract in the spring. I bet those two got a big laugh out of that.

Ugh, thanks for the shitty reminder. I agree, Cameron should have gotten the boot. Sub OP is right thought, would have been another excuse for Miles to ride on. After last week, no excuses.

And the offense would have looked exactly the same if we had a new oc, just like the oc previous and the one before him, and the one before him.

Newsflash people, it's miles

sorry you bought that bag of shite. I have wanted him fired from the day he was hired, and every year has proven it.

What other OC would actually want to work with Miles?

At this point, changing the OC won't solve anything. Les just overrides the play calls

Finebaum caller just said that too then Paul told him he used to think that too but has been told by many very reliable people that les runs the offense. Last 5 minutes of the show
