One aspect overlooked (I believe) is how well we played despite a 10 am start. In the past we've looked out of sorts (Florida this year) or just downright disinterested (bowl game against Texas comes to mind). I'm not sure if Coach O gets the credit or a veteran team but it was nice to see us overcome what's traditionally been a psychological hurdle as completely as we did, on national television.

It was 11:00 eastern but still the same that's earlier than we normally kick off. It took the fans about a quarter to get awake. Guess about that 2nd beer. Last early game I went to like that we lost to Texas in the Cotton Bowl on 1/1/03 I believe. Froze my arse off. Glad I'm about to drive home today happy.

I was worried about the day game issue but the Tigers were ready and played well the whole game. Was impressed.

Should have been playing tonight with any sort of game against UF. This team with ANY coaching would have played at night on 12/31. Sad to see the wasted talent. Hope Canada can bring it because the loss or potential losses of underclassmen could really set us back especially since we are not getting some key recruits. Filling this class is going to be very difficult. This was our chance to be a close match in talent to Bama because of the guys that stayed.

I read Coach O held some 6am practices leading up to the game. Good move on his part

Hopefully we close the gap with them now that we have a new OC coming in. Sure am curious which coaches stay and which coaches go. Our recruiting class coming in has some talent. Hope we finish strong in that arena on the defensive side of the ball.

Dude I'm with you.

LSU coaching is miserable.
Not going undefeated is miserable.
Football not giving any light into my miserable life is miserable.
People that support LSU no matter what are miserable.
Enjoying seeing the team hog tie a Heisman Trophy winner is miserable.
Seeing the offense dominate an opponent's defense is miserable.
Everything is miserable.
Damn but I love to share my misery with other miserable people.
Thank you (in a miserable way) for sharing your misery.

Why is it that some fans can't just enjoy an LSU victory without coming out with some lame disclaimer designed to denigrate the victory?
LSU won in convincing fashion. But some numbnutz has to chime in crying about what didn't happen?
LSU won
Why is that bad for some fans?

List one thing in the post that is not factual. 1.
Did we have a chance to be playing tonight with any coaching? Like the pass against Wiskey with the team already in FG range or havibg harris starting in the first place. How about that fiasco at Auburn? Or how about the 3rd down play call against UF where EVERYBODY in the stadium knew Moore was getting the ball or how crappy the special teams were in that UF game?

So ANY Coaching we are in CFP or at worse the Sugar Bowl. Losing to UF sealed it. SMH we actually beat no one with any defense whatsoever this season. Go look at the defensive rankings and you'll see for yourself.

Compared to 2003-2007?? How do they look to you? How confident are you winning the SEC West or making the Semis at least?
So yeah. Win it all or be able to compete for it with this talent level or simply get run. Now they can't recruit because of the virtual lock at losing 1-3 SEC losses a year.
Follow recruiting.

This is all on O he's a master motivator and the Ark and Aggie games were more proof of that.
