Finebaum and Marcus have been vocal in calling out the SEC. There should be some fireworks.

ETA: Nevermind. The SEC Network is going to publicly kiss the arse of the Commissioner. Should have known.

Literally every SEC school's AD needs to be very vocal right now. Revenue is being lost, games and schedules are being jacked up, and bad precedent is being set. Unacceptable. UF should take the forfeit and better luck next year.

Finebaum never calls out the SEC anymore because he works for them.

He has been neutered and is a shell of his former self.

The only good news is that he doesn't blast LSU all of the time

It will not happen. Aleva is in PC mode claiming UF's decision was understandable. He now is additionally saying that he doesn't see the game being rescheduled. He has, politely, given them permission to frick us (and potentially Tennessee as well). It is true, that he has a limited ability to influence any decision, but he has chosen to take the "high road" (a lingering stench of the Jindal/King lovechild and abortion?). A simple, we are ready to play on Sunday, Monday, or even Tuesday would sufficed. Instead, he gave then a pass, so...frick him. He should force the issue as much as possible and make them look like shite in the previews. What really bothers me is, this is the arse hat we are trusting with our next coaching hire. I'm just a little on the concerned side based on this stuff.

Agreed. Saying that he doesn't see how the game can be scheduled and that he understands the decision to postpone, aka, cancel the game, was a misstep, and a big one.

It gave all of the leverage to UF and the SEC that they need to wag their finger at LSU as the one that caused the mess.

There was already a pressedent set for this situation. LSU/ Tennessee. LSU/Arizona
LSU/South Carolina

Sec commissioner screwed this up. Needs to be called out on this.
