Last night was a really good win for a young team. The key stat was LSU getting 2nd chance points, and capitalizing on the opportunity. UK was probably the better team talent wise, but, that doesn't necessarily equal wins. Kentucky played poor transition defense, that led to LSU making key, wide open shots, especially going on that 15-2 run in the 2nd half. There are many in this forum who are not on the Mac Train, but I would not want to be in Calipari's seat this morning. It's getting pretty hot, IMO. It's a great day to live in the commonwealth, and have a win over those arrogant pri*ks

Wouldn't say that. The future is on the right path, and I really think Woody made the correct hire.

Amazing that anyone could have seen Thiero, Dillingham, and Reeves on the floor at the same time & argue this point.

Truly impressive win. I’ll trade the Dayton game for this one, no question. One of the most stacked teams we’ve played & should give Bama a run for their money this weekend.

A good subjective goal for this year was to be a team that others didn’t want to play. For sure other teams know we are not gonna get rolled over.

Next year the goal is to win the sec or be dang close.

My big observation and critical change was although LSU did not stop the penetration into the lane in the second half they forced errant shots and got the rebound. UK makes a living off the drive in the lane and either laying it up and in or dishing off to open teamate and sometime just cleaning up the miss. LSU crashed the boards and on most of those occasions there was no UK player able to get under the basket for the rebound or tip.
