Before too many people start freaking out about student ticket issues, here is a breakdown of the student ticket process in 2007:
The deadline to order was Dec. 5 at 5pm.
They sent notification emails the evening of Dec. 9th.
Tickets were $175 each and each student could order 2 tickets.
Priority point cutoff was 150 pts.
All seating assignments were first come, first served the day of the game at the dome.
If was clusterfrick.
This year a lot of things are different:
Each student gets 1 ticket.
There are two prices based on location.
$234 for lower, $300 for upper.
They are using group seating, which is kind of complex.
Whether or not you get a ticket is completely based on your individual points.
Once you've based that threshold, then the group seating applies. Based on your group average points of people in the group who got tickets, they will assign your exact seats and this will also determine lower vs upper($234 vs $300). Your individual ticket will be in an envelope waiting for you at the dome...so no need to camp out overnight, etc. should be much better than 07.
If anyone sees anything wrong or has any questions...I'll try to fix/answer.
