Unless we are in some odd time warp going back to the '73-'74 season losing to Marquette and NC State aren't exactly "quality losses" where your RPI is notably increased. And yes, C of Charleston has caused many "name" programs headaches over the last 20 yrs but we hardly laid a hand on them. They didn't tip one in at the buzzer.

Certainly on Dec 1 there is plenty of time to right the ship but we really can't lose any more OOC games and will need to go around 12-6 in SEC play and hopefully not lay an egg in our first SEC-T game.

Getting Hornsby back will help some...Craig Victor better be pretty good inside, or we're toast. Losing Martin and Mickey is a lot to overcome. Plus, JJ has yet to prove he can coach.

correct, but he's in his 15th season as a D-I head coach. If he doesn't know how to coach by now, you think the light bulb is magically going to come on for him now???

He is what he is, and this is it. Great recruiter, but nothing more than that.

17-19 wins, miss out on tourney. LSU basketball never ever changes, no matter coaches or players. People were insanely over rating this team.

High expectations were legitimate. The team last year had flashes of very good basketball.

The present record in and of itself isn't a big deal. And it is indeed "March Madness" not Cyber Monday madness. But one thing the team last year never consistently developed was a lot of determination and toughness as the NC State game last year highlighted in 3D.Plenty of teams that made a run in March lost a lot of early games. But now the fact this team isn't mentally tough is overtaking the talent.
