I realize I'm talking about a moral victory and at the end of the day that doesn't mean much, but this team just doesn't have an ounce of quit in them. Down 21 in the 1st half, clawed all the way back and got the lead, clawed back from another Marquette run and made it a game down the stretch. Even though they didn't finish how I would have liked, it's nice to see this team doesn't quit. I think Coach Jones has this team on the right track and we can look forward to a solid team for years to come!

Me too. I can't help but feel like a Trent Johnson team would have packed it in when they were down 21.

Looks like in the big games we'll live and die by JOB having a good game/bad game...the guard play was a little sloppy...and we still had chances.

the team has to figure out how to manufacture points and steals without hickey on the floor because whenever collins is in it looks ugly, but i will agree that this team did not quit and played their hearts out, and that is the effort that is needs for this year for them to be successful in the SEC

Team Deffinitely shows a tremendous amount of heart looked like JOB was banged up a bit, almost want to say if he has an even remotely decent game in tr first half today LSU would have gotten the W

This team has a new toughness to it. It's true, a team is a reflection of their coach.

I'm not big on applauding effort. I think that should be a given and if it ain't there are kids on the bench dying to give 100%.

I think the difference today and against Boise was Andre's 3's went in the hole. He was 1-10 vs. Boise and his missed three's were rally killers. Today the made 3's were rally ignitors.

And Hickey hit some big goals that trimmed the 21 pt. deficit to 12 before half and made the game manageable.

Hickey's a flat out baller.

I blame the referees. I'll keep my thoughts on what I'd like to see happen to them confidential.
