Honestly, team looks pretty rough this year, and it's ahrd to pinpoint how the new guys will contribute, but this is the ebst I could come up with:

C: JR. Reath
PF: JR. Victor
SF: JR. Jenkins or SO. Sampson
SG: SO. Blakeneny
PG: JR. Patterson or FR. Mays

I don't know, I think we're forced to play 4 guards with Victor in the post. Jenkins is hurt and will be out quite a while from what it sounds like. LINK

Victor
Epps/Reath
Sampson
Blakeney
Patterson/Mays

Bench rotation of Sims/Hayward/ERIII/Bridgewater

Wow if Jenkins is out for a while it's going to really suck. He is the defensive guy, main reason we got him. Not going to give much offense but can lock down any hot guard the other team has.

Yep, either really small or just not tough

Thunderbird, your projected lineup is about how I'm seeing it, too. The question for me is whether Reap is more polished or raw. From what I've read, he seems to have some skill and athleticism. But whether he's ready to start or not, I'm not sure. I'm hoping he is. If so, the frontline doesn't have much depth behind him and Victor. If not, we are going to have to go with a really small lineup.

I think we get 15 to 18 wins, beat some of the lower teams in the league, but we'll have no chance against bigger lineups like A&M, Kentucky, etc. I don't see postseason unless they somehow unleash 40 minutes of hell like we did a few years ago with the small lineup and Johnny O'Bryant.

What could we expect from Sims? Counting on getting nothing from Robinson and Bridgewater.

Projected line up:

Starters first game, then Mainieri changes the lineup every game after that ....

AS HE HAS DONE EVERY YEAR.... Then at the CWS or Super Reg's we go up in flames....

We aren't that bad at all. If Jenkins is out for a while it could be tougher, but AB will be a 1st rounder this year, and I expect Sampson to put up some points. Patterson is a solid player that will help, victor will get stronger and better. This team has an outside shot at the NIT

I know people are disappointed with Jones finishing 3rd in SEC and missing the tourney, but we will not having a losing record under him. Ever.

I think we may have:
PG - Patterson/Sampson (Sampson will likely get some time here but Blakeney will be doing a ton of handling)
SG - Tone
Wing - Sampson/Sims
PF - Victor
C - Reath

Victor will still likely play 10-15 at C every game.

We are going to be awful. We have no depth on this team.

If I read your English correctly, you are saying we will never have a losing record under JJ? Well get ready for it, its about to happen.

IMO JJ will be gone after this year. What recruits does he even have on the books right now? Will our roster improve next year?

You are off by a year. We will have one losing record with JJ...this year...his last.

PG - Jalyn Patterson/Mays
SG - Tone/Hayward
SF - Sampson/Sims/Bridge
PF - Victor/Epps/Bridge
C - Reath/E Rob

When Jenkins returns, he should see lots of PT at all guard positions.
