IMHO we did NOT give a whole lot of effort today. I never saw a Brady coached team just flat give up. I'm beginning to wonder about all the Trent love?

I was a Brady fan. But this statement is beyond wrong.

ELLESHOE, you obviously have a lot of passion for LSU bb and I respect that. You have obviously watched alot of bb over the years and know talent. I am amazed that you still are giving TJ the benefit of the doubt, you watched Brady's teams when he had no talent and they never played zone defense and we always defended hard. I have watched plenty of ball in my life and gauge a coach of how we adjust out of timeout or after halftime. How many times do we come out of time out and score.....never, our in bounds plays are terrible, stringer shoots from 35' come on, our zone defense even sucks. Check the second half scores compared to ours in League play, its embarassing. TJ has no talent on this team in his third year, O'Bryant is good but he is no tyrus thomas. I hate being mediocre and we are not even that, for people to continue to say next year, frick that, we said that last year, with Malcolm White....he is terrible, there is a reason kids transfer, there are not good enough!!!!!! We have an abundance of talent in the state in the next three years and I am not hearing anything about LSU which concerns me. TJ is not the right guy here and it time to cut bait. SOONER the better, we fired the last guy in the middle of the season and he wasn't near this bad.

This team still has a HUGE talent gap.

Two of the players in the rotation (I won't name names, because the Chickster doesn't like it when we call out individual players) just AREN'T D-1 scholarship players.

They're walk ons.

I'm not saying they "don't deserve to be here", but relying on guys like that to contribute ANY minutes is a recipe for disaster. The two players in question play 10-15 minutes (sometimes more) a game.

If you have D-1 players that can't hit open jumpers (from any distance) or even make a layup (or even attempt one), teams identify that and expose it.

Watch any other major conference team. None of their contributors are unwilling (or incapable) of taking the most basic shots. They can do SOMETHING.

I like to see "hustle" guys. I like "team" players. But if those guys start or play regular minutes, you're going to get thumped.
