The team does return several guys with a lot of playing experience. If the newcomers can give some quality playing time/depth, they will be better than most people think.

The team was not as bad as the 2-16 SEC record last year. The coach was. Coach Wade will have them significantly improved in every aspect of the game. Be patient. We are finally heading in the right direction.

It's just too early for me to come up with a prediction. We'll see at least 2 new faces with 1 more scholarship available and some attrition.

I agree. I will wait to see the final roster before speculating.

Too much going on to predict anything right now.

Daryl Edwards will probably come here instead of VCU now. Kevin Knox would be a stud and an instant starter if he comes too.I think Rachal needs to come off the bench

Daryl Edwards

This kid would be awesome. Visited Iowa State last weekend and visits UNLV next weekend. He's here this weekend. HAs some legit offers and shot 47% form 3 this year, that's incredible. Also averaged 4 assists a game.

6'4 185 too.

Wait why would Knox come to LSU? Has there been some smoke?

No, he was interested early on but that's over. I have no doubt we add a 2 guard or pg JUCO or grad transfer, so whoever that might be is probably going to start

Robinson isn't transferring. Though Hayward is raw, it's rangy enough to be good on defense and is a very good threat from 3 point range.

If Jenkins is back to 100% he will get plenty of playing time.

Not sure why Knox is even mentioned here. We're not anywhere close to being in the picture for him. It's going to be out of Duke, UNC, UK, FSU and Mizzou for him. LSU is a nonplayer.

Yeah, I think it's clear Wade wants a SG transfer btw the kid from Akron, Edwards, and Markel Crawford.

I don't see Robinson transferring either, but I just don't get it. The guy never did see the court for jones and Wade is only going to demand more out of his post players so I'd be suprised if he averages 5 minutes a game when healthy

Robinson needs to start and you bring you freshmen big off the bench to help manage your fouls and I'm sure with new coaching Robinson can give 10 to 12 minutes a night.

e is not the worst player on the team and you can teach height and size, he was missed used for the past 3 years and why start all your big men at one time. That's crazy.

Agree with some on here that it's just too early to tell.
It could be

Pg- Mays
Sg - Sampson
Sf - Sims
Pf - Kiir
C - Reath

Or
Pg- Mays
W - Hayward
W - Sampson
F - Sims
F/C - Reath

Or
G - Mays
W - Sampson
W - Alexander
F - Sims or Kiir
F/C - Reath

I don't think it's a good sign if Rachal starts.

I still hear a lot of buzz on Jenkins. CJJ was touting him consistently as a difference maker when he was out with injury and more than one insider has told me we did not really see what he could do this past year because the injury was significant.

I've also heard Wade is of the same mindset. We shall see. I hope so.

I believe that while the talent coming back and in is certainly not elite, I think we'll also see it was not as bad as it appeared to be last year.

Are you that much of a bonehead?

Why would Patterson transfer......?

And what incoming transfer would immediately replace Mays in the starting line-up.....?
