Solid pitching from our bullpen, defensively sound but our bats certainly could of been better. I do understand that it was hard to get in a groove with the inconsistency of pitching and that there was a lack of good pitches to swing at, but none-the-less I think it is fair to say our bats have been a bit lackluster in our 2 midweek games. Bottom line is we got the victory, so great win guys against a quality opponent. Especially with all our injuries. Kudos to Arby Fields.

Much love and respect to Wally Pontiff Jr. and his family. I look forward to the Wally Pontiff Jr. Classic every year, and I loved hearing from his younger brother in the booth tonight.
