In Duplantis' first at bat, he hit down the LF line into the corner but was thrown out at 3rd by Bryce Adams.
30mph wind from LF foul pole to RF pole made it really chilly at the Box.
Maineiri still trying to find the right spot to bat Dawson.

How did he go 0-2 then?

Wouldn't duplantis still get credit for a double?
How was the ball reacting to that kind of breeze?

Well it's certainly a beautiful feeling, it's almost time for baseball at the box. I really like this pitching staff, just hope the bats heat up.

We had this discussion last year and I was told not to score this as a hit by some folks on this board. Just trying to be consistent.

Its history. I just want to be consistent. I don't recall who posted that it wasn't a hit. I can edit the OP to reflect a 2b if that is the correct scoring.

Breaux is my favorite player. How has he looked defensively?

I've only been to 2 scrimmages, so I have not seen a lot of him. Scuba or Russian or somebody will have to answer that.

I haven't scored any errors for Brennan Breaux this spring. At times it seems that he is trying to make spectacular plays, diving for sinking line drives, instead of more conservative plays but it hasn't caused an error as yet. He misplayed a fly ball in the wind tonight, for example, leading to a 3b for Robertson. He did make a diving catch tonight, however, he is not Mark Laird, yet.

Cain was on the radio tonight and said Breaux is the player to watch to break out mid season. Compared him to mahtook.

I can see either Breaux or Lochridge moving into the starting line-up at some point of the season based on their performance this spring.

I expect to see lochridge at 2nd sooner rather than later.
