Seems like Lochridge needs to be the 3rd baseman?
With Robertson and Freeman battling for 2nd!

They seemed to be enjoying themselves around the dugout, as well. The players all seemed to be more upbeat today than at recent scrimmages, IMO.

Coach seemed to be in a more light hearted mood too. Talking to fans, joking with players, etc.

Scuba- anyone looking like they are making a Stevenson-like jump at the plate from frosh to soph? Anyone looking particularly great at the plate, even without stellar stats?
Stallings with a rough outing. Good to see McKay with another solid inning. Lange gonna Lange

Papierski has improved his offense more than any of the other Sophmores although the other three, Deichmann and the Jordans, have all improved as well. This may be attributed to Cannizaro's efforts. We'll have to wait till the season is in full swing to make a more informed evaluation.

I really hope Stalling is not closing this season. Seems like he still only has one pitch with no movement. That's a recipe for disaster come conference time.

The bottom of the purple lineup hit well it seems. That will be key to winning games.

The coaches are experimenting by moving Dawson up to the 3 hole from 9th since Friday. His bat has been very quiet so far this Spring. Everyone from 4-8 has moved down to compensate.
