Going into the season you say LSU would win 7 of the first 8 series with 2 sweeps...would you take it? I would.
Yes, there are issues with walks but every team is having them. We are still a really good team. On to the next series. Take 2 of 3 or sweep.

Absolutely. On pace to be 20-9. If we go 20-10 every year we’re in the top echelon with a chance to go to Omaha every year. All you can ask for.

Think sweeping a bad state team at home and 2 out of 3 against Georgia, win a game or 2 in the sec tourney and get ready for regionals.

You are correct and Jay has us on pace to enter the postseason year in and year out with the program steu ture he is building. I don't think many people question that.
The thing is, it's great to consistently make the post season and once in a while having those special players that can put you over the top. This year we have generational talent in Crews and skenes that will be gone after this year....you hate to waste those special players.
