Taking my grandson to the game on Friday. How early should we get there so he could see batting practice, etc. I usually don't go nearly that early but I want him to really enjoy his first game. Thanks

gates open 2 hours before game time. When gates open, LSU is in the middle of BP, and after Florida will take BP.

And Friday's game has been pushed back to 8:00 p.m. first pitch. IF they play at all...

I’m thinking gates open 2 hrs prior to game time. I’d be waiting at the gate at that time. Make sure and bring a baseball and a good pen. Get him to hang out around the right field area in the stands. Players will stop and talk to him, give him a ball, sign stuff, etc. After the game make sure and hang out under the stadium (1st base area side). All the players exit in the same area. They sign stuff for all the kids. It’s a cool experience. Both my kids have done this multiple times.

Today's game has been pushed back to 8pm. Friday's game is set for 7pm first pitch.

depending on when rain quits & field prep, they may take batting practice in the indoor cages tonight
