Obviously they should be #1. Anybody that can handle Maryland deserves the top spot.

It rough for me to see LSU struggle a bit! Fullerton is really starting to put it together after a rough stretch to start the season. They played one of the toughest OOC schedule and it seems to be paying off now! Just over a month before the regular season is over, and there is plenty of intrigue.

Should we start planning our Super Regional road trip to Austin? Good hotels, restaurants, bars?

Still alot of baseball to be played. If Old Mrs. keeps winning and we can take the series from FLA, our RPI will be Top 8, including series wins over Top 8 competitors.

Arky isn't getting enough love and Florida/Virginia is getting too much

Florida taking 2 of 3 from Arky might have something to do with that.

As for Virginia, it's another classic case of the polls overrating the entire ACC.

Any poll that puts us ahead of LSU after this past weekend should be shut down and disbanded.

Idiots.

I think we should be 7-3 against RPI 50-100 (2-1 UGA, 2-0 NW State, 1-0 Tulane, 1-0 Southern Miss, 1-2 Kansas) and 15-0 against RPI 100+

Mostly everyone on this board has claimed all year that collegiate is the most rational and the best. I wonder if the tune changes.

No. That's a fact. We're good, but beating a #5 team does NOT mean that your entire body of work is better.

We lost series to UGA and UT. No freakin way we're better than LSU at this point in the season. We played better this past weekend, that's it.

EDIT: Actually, we did win the series against UGA, but it took extra innings on Saturday. Point is still the same, our body of work is not as good as LSU's.
