The best thing would be to put PM at the other end of the dugout so he can't talk to the hitters before their plate appearances.

D1 Baseball has been running their top newcomers profiles. LSU is 2nd behind Miami. It's slightly different than other places recruiting rankings. It's based on who gets to campus, but it takes into account transfers, JUCO guys, and incoming freshmen. So it's a little more all-encompassing.

Know how I know you've never walked through the LSU baseball locker room, hitting, strength and conditioning facilities??

That makes a lot more sense Project and is a better way to judge. What I really like about this class is some of the guys I didn't expect to have an early impact are going to have a big impact Edwards, Helmers, Safford, Morgan. Those guys really boosted this class. Hats off to Nolan Cain.

While the new box has fallen behind other schools as far as the actual stadium and experience for fans there isn’t better facilities for the players than at LSU.

Our stadium is very average-to-crap, but our training facilities are top notch.

They blew it on the design on the new Box, but it is salvageable with some creative architects.

Exactly. The actual box, maybe.

I still
Think we need to do something like ms state.. have condos or apartments and let people cook on balconies. That is cool as shite

My main issue w Box is those damn bleachers. They’re pathetic and cheap looking. Colored chair backs down the line would improve aesthetics and fan experience

Ole Miss student outfield is the best. They have grills out there too. And the students are rowdy because they let them do whatever they want (drink).

This. The box is really embarrassing compared to other SEC parks. Those bleachers makes it look high school like

I think the EconoLodge sitting behind left field looks ridiculous. Other than that it's a fine yard.

I’m perfectly fine with them just doing chair backs throughout the whole stadium and get rid of the high school bleachers.

The one thing I took from that video is the fact that they train the hitters to hit it as hard as they can.

Definitely explains the Ks and overswinging we tend to see from LSU hitters that should just be playing for contact.

No where did they get told to overswing. If you spend any time at all in baseball world nowadays you see exit velocity giving immediate feedback to the good and bad.

Cages suck sometimes, everyone looks like an all American. Get em on a field and those lasers in the cage turn into nothing. Exit velocities dont lie.

All we need now is for PM to stop hiring his former players as hitting coaches
