I don't think he should go. I just want him making smarter decisions at times. All coaches miss. I'm a fan of LSU so those are the ones I point out. I'm happy he pulled Bouman as early as he did. I expected him to let him finish the inning no matter what. Step in the right direction.

Do you get excited when we win? Serious question. 95% of your posts are negative. I feel like you're one of those fans that feels "relieved" when we win a game rather than actually happy about it.

Rally fruit did work today. Had to overcome bouman, fat umpire, and stallings.

when you figure out a reliable method of determining when to pull a pitcher let us know. ditto for who to select to pitch.

baseball is an individual team sport. and predicting human performance in a situation is a crap shoot. you just can't do it.

so all the fan has to do is praise the coach if it works or lambast him if it doesn't.

Lol. There is no method. But there are obvious bad decisions and obvious good ones. I don't know anyone who thought starting Bouman was a good one.

It wasn't an obvious decision one way or the other prior to the game. We could have just as easily started Bain and he could have struggled.

I agree. Bain could have. Lange could have. Newman could have. Norman. Godfrey. Poche. That's not an argument. Bouman had (has) the lowest ERA. He throws the slowest. He's had the least amount of success. Worst opponent average. But yeah, it makes sense that he could still be our 3rd starter...

His ERA is the highest.

You really don't enjoy wins though. People are beginning to notice.

Bouman should come in right after Ryan May from now on

I enjoy wins. I enjoy discussions and disagreeing. I just don't let a win or loss dictate whether I think a team played well or badly or if a coach made a good or bad decision. So I stick out in games like this.

I predicted a sweep. I love it. We easily look like the best team right now. It's great. I've said these things but they look like what everyone says so they go mostly unnoticed. Hell, I spent most of the week defending PM!

You harp on shite way too much after wins. We know bouman isn't good and was a bad choice. We know brah. It doesn't really bother me but I'm not at all surprised you are starting to wear on people.

I probably do. I say my piece then keep responding. That's fair.

But I'm going to tell myself that I wouldn't seem so bad if hcb was still around.

ETA: but when you say "we" you aren't referring to the people who argue with me.
