I just meant more along the lines of know-it all sports fans claiming the sky is falling and the world is coming to an end.

well metaphorically speaking, the sky has pretty much already fallen for the baseball team unless they go on a run like they did in 2008, but a 23 game winning streak is a once in a blue moon type thing

A few of us who have hung out in the game threads for years are getting awfully tired of whiney little bitches calling our players POS's and heartless, though. It's not always going to be sunshine, moonbeams and unicorns out on the field, but it sure seems like every-other post is a Debbie Downer. I'll still be there doing my best to ignore those posters and be happy with our successes when they happen.
