Is there any word as to how this is going? Is there a list of possible replacements?

He has time on this one.
Fall practice is over.
Now you have to find someone on another staff which is not easy at this time of the year.
PM has to have a list since Cannizaro was close to the Tulane job as well.

Jake Gautreau's name was dropped this morning on BR Radio. I don't know much about him other than he was interim Tulane coach a few years ago.

I've seen his name in a few different places as well. Former Tulane assistant. I think he's currently working for Boras. I just want someone with similar recruiting connections of Cannizaro.

There may be one or two schools that can spend money on hitting coach and recruiting coordinator like we can. It should not be hard to find a very good replacement.

We did just sign one of his former pitchers.

If Schwanke is still alive I would love to see him back in Purple and Gold.

I think Schwanke is a sports agent (or something along those lines) in the Dallas area. Not sure that he has any plans to ever go back to coaching. Now Turtle is another story. He may very well be available, but how well he would get along with PM might be a determining factor.
