The entire baseball america team doesn't know jack squat about baseball?

Say all you want about their ranking methodology (which is exaclty why there are multiple ranking systems and not just one), those guys know a lot more than you do. Even though their specialty is scouting prospects and MLB, they've actually seen MULTIPLE top 25 teams in action this year.

I would guess you approve of the rankings.

And I said he DOES know jack squat. But that's all he knows.

All I care about is a top 8 seed. No more, no less.

i've followed texas and lsu this season.. no way is texas better.. they are over-hyped bc of their "pitching"..

I have to agree. Even though Texas leads in "common opponents" (swept KU, which won the series at LSU), the rest of the Big-12 is pretty weak this year. K-State is in 2nd place and they've played NO ONE! And, if KU's closer (Brett Bochy, saved the two games at the box) had been available for the UT series (out for the season w/ Tommy John), KU would have won at least one game.

Beat UC Irvine twice, Clemson and NC. Other than that haven't really played a lot of decent teams. Lost two to San Diego, lost to Kentucky, College of Charleston and Illinois.

Took two of three at Oxford. Lost two to Pitt. Lost to Kentucky, Uconn and Ball state.

I think LSU should be ahead of them in the RPI.

SLU is still ranked in two polls. I thought based on how SLU played bama I thought LSU would sweep. Dissapointed that the lions couldn't get it done against the elephants.

pesky Oregon- I guess they were "pesky" only because they beat UCLA.

Oregon has actually been "pesky" this year. This is only their 2nd season of baseball in quite some time, and they are on the bubble of making the postseason.

And like many have already stated...not quite sure how UVA is getting so much love right now.

and have won 11 straight and 18 of 19 since playing LSU. Also, #2 RPI.

They go to Florida this weekend, so shite will be sorted out soon.
