Barret Bailey.......?

I have been on the Recruiting board following the incoming QB class. Alot questions surround us losing Ely yesterday. i am not worried and feel good about Z. Lee but in case he leaves is Bailey still onthe team nad can he get it done if called on?

Barrett is on the team. He's redshirting this year. If it comes down to Barrett taking snaps in the SEC, we're in trouble.

Barrett Bailey went to 2a university high and is about as smart as a sack of bricks. He is only on the team as a favor. He is not even good enough to start for Louisiana College

No I actually went to uhigh. I am about 8 years older than Barrett but watched him many times. I was an assistant baseball coach there for many years.

You have obviously never seen the guy play a football. He must have done something to you that makes you think like an idiot, but Barrett was a great quarterback in highschool on a less then decent team. In his last highschool game against John Curtis, he started off 0-11, with literally 8 or 9 dropped passes. If given the chance I think he can be a decent SEC starting quarterback. I'm not saying he'd be good but your kidding yourself saying he wouldn't start at Louisiana College.

Dude, if you look he didn't even get scholarship offers from other LA schools. He didn't do anything to me and I have nothing against the kid as a person. But my lord man, let's be real. This is the SEC, not John curtis. He is not an sec caliber qb. He will never start for lsu and if he does this program is in major trouble.

I agree I don't think he'll start for LSU and yeah the SEC is a big different from JC but he's still on the team, preferred walk-on or not he obviously has what it takes to at least hang around on the team. Saying that he wouldn't start at a school like Louisiana College doesn't make sense. I go to Uhigh now and I watched all of his highschool games. He would be a lot better off at a smaller school like Southeastern or Northwestern State, but he's not incapable of being a decent SEC quarterback(although your right I don't think he will)

I am sorry. I hope the best for the kid. Now, moving on, I hope the best for our LSU program, so I personally hope the coaching staff goes in another direction!
