I can assure you that the people celebrating a pop country song at an LSU game have very little to do with us lagging behind the rest of the country.

The song is a metaphor, as far as it being played at games. Baton Rouge is the girl. It's a love song dedicated to the city. The city that hosts the University and is home to the football team. It hits those of us that left the school and team but our heart stayed and is there when we come back for a game.
