I'm going to disagree with you here. I think if we had lost in Alabama as a result of our FG kicker missing 2 FG's in regulation and missing one in OT, our fans would be too busy blasting Miles for attempting 2 very long FG's instead of punting and they would be too busy blasting JJ for taking a sack in OT that forced a long FG. No, our fanbase would be too busy kicking ourselves for blowing our opportunity for a BCS championship to have enough time to make ridiculous claims of luck and deserving another chance. Our fans tend to be more grounded in reality than the delusional gumps.

I agree... and that is very possible. Depending on the voters, I dont think all the voters want to see a rematch... the voters represent the rest of college football better than the crap we hear on ESPN. But... O State has to really put it on OU for a chance of that to happen.

Bama is the second best team in the nation.
We match up well with them.
We will beat them by 10 next time.
I want to play them again. I want to see what our team did in the 4th and OT against them done for 4 quarters.

If LSU were in the same position as Bama, the Rantards would be whining at full volume right now for lsu ti be in the big game. It really isn't a stretch to believe that somehow a teams fan base wouldn't be clamoring for them to be in the NC game.

When are the minority of LSU fans going to realize that Bama has no claim on the BCSNCG ? Rod Gilmore on the BCS countdown show last night was the ONLY one who repeatedly stated this as well. Alabama lost at home, Okie St. on the road the day they got the news their bb coach and his recruiting coordinator, along with the pilot and co-pilot, had died. Both occurred in OT. Let's hope the voters wake up from this ESPN trance and reward the cowboys for their body of work throughout the year. Go Cowboys, beat the Sooners !!
