The spiral of the ball hit his hands in a way where he couldn't get any grip on the ball. The catch would have been hard, but he could have gotten it if the spiral would have been a little tighter.

WTF? This ain't little league ball. RR should be able to catch anything that hit's his hands. RR is a great receiver but I don't know if JJ can get the ball to him. He caught like 2 passes Nov 5? I watched him on a lot of plays and he did get open just wasn't thrown the ball or it was thrown where he couldn't get to it.

At least there was an opportunity for touchdown in the end zone. All these homers who are saying Bama left points on the field forget about that drop and the next run, where LSU was left with 3rd down and 1 damn second. Had they had any more time, a TD would have been had and Bama would have lost 10-6

Not sure I agree with that. There weren't many deep shots called for him and he was bracketed most of the night if I recall.

This. I agree, RR can get separation from just about any coverage back he faces. The problem is, especially against Bama, they always have someone deep to prevent RR from getting open.

thats why we need some playaction to draw in some of that zone coverage. we wont need but a few steps for the homerun ball.

When I saw downfield situations at the end of plays or some as the play unfolded, I did see great coverage on RR. I do not have complete game film nor do I need it.

I am quite sure he can get open and we need to get him the ball

I was referring to how people act like it was an easy catch or that it was a for sure touchdown when it wasn't such an easy grab. You're acting like everything they do should be easy.

If anybody plays little league ball it's Michael Williams.

They also forget that Ford was an inch away from scoring in OT, while they couldn't even get close. Also that the long reception to Shep should have been a touchdown.

I guess you didn't see Williams having his hands all over the ball on the goal line but getting it taken away. Nah, that wasn't close.

In what little footage I was able to see of the team practicing leading into the game, the only route I saw the QB's throwing was down the sideline to the outside shoulder...hmmm.

Randle catches decreased big time when Lee left the field. Every receivers has for what its worth.
