Yes but in that case you would lose the DH.

I want to say that Skip did it to the '93 team in the postseason. Sirotka (maybe
) was pitching then moved to first for a few batters then went back to the mound to finish the game. That might actually be a good question for Rantz.

Ben McDonald was pitching a game (forgot against who) and we jumped up a big lead, so Skip put McDonald in LF to save his arm for later, but if needed he could still come in for the current game.

You could tell, even with the shitty tv coverage, that Buggs was pissed off, but no clue if it was at himself or the umps. From that far away camera coverage, I could not see CPM bitching. As for the HR, even the bama homers broadcasting the game yesterday said replay showed it was a legit HR. And the bama HC did not bitch very much.

I had a Bammer old timer tell me that when Bama plays Kentucky in Basketball, he goes to watch Kentucky, and when they play LSU in baseball, well, he goes to watch LSU. Twas a nice compliment, I thought.
