you shite on the team/coach and then use "we" in your comments?

I'm stating facts: WE DO NOT SCHEDULE ULLaffy.

Stating facts isn't shitting on the team. I want to play and beat them. I want to knock them out the top 20. I apologize if wanting to beat ranked teams upsets you.

Read the 2017 Softball Media Guide:
Torina (at FIU) vs ULLLLLL = 4-11
Torina (at LSU) vs ULLLLL = 0-2
Torina (all-time) vs ULLLLL = 4-13

...and the only reason we played them twice under Torina was because it was post-season and we had no choice.

I'm sorry you like being ULLLL's bitch, I personally don't. I would rather Torina schedule them, post some f'n wins against them and shut them the F up.

But yeah, let's keep scheduling ULM instead of a team that would actually help our RPI.

but Beth Torina is still scared to play UL-Laffy.

I guess she can't get over all the loses against ULL when she coached at FIU.

Oh well at least Torina isn't scared to play all the other cupcake in-state schools.

You should petition to have all the games Torina coached against ULLLL removed from our 2017 Softball Media Guide (page 24 to be specific).

You honestly think it is just a random coincidence that since Torina arrived here, we play all other in-state schools EXCEPT ULLLL?

Come on Nick, tell your wife the only way to conquer her fears is to face them.

She has a hard on for UL for some reason can't remember the reason why she doesn't schedule them.

why give UL-L an rpi boost? we don't need them for our RPI, playing in the SEC guarantees we'll play plenty of good teams.

Our RPI is currently #13 (with only 1 SEC series under our belt). UL-L's is #41.

Let them languish in Lafayette.

I was mostly curious why every year we schedule all the other in-state teams for midweek games except those idiots in Lafayette.

I have been told by multiple sources that Torina will never schedule ULLLLLLL as long as she is the coach.

I just want to run-rule those clowns, but year after year we do not schedule them. What gives?

Beth has tried to have a home and home series with ULL but it has never panned out. I promise it isn't her, its them. Torina schedules bigger fish than ULL, its not like she doesn't play anyone. Why do you think she plays OU, Washington, UCLA, Minnesota and other top 10/15 teams? The statement about torina avoid ULL is bullshite

Leave it to one jackass to ruin a very well intentioned thread about Bailey Landry.

To add facts to get us back on track, Bailey has a 19 game hit streak going. The LSU record is 21, which she also owns.

This right here is an intelligent post.

I completely agree with you: Let's not give them an RPI boost.

I am convinced you are a moron, we have a top 10 SOS every year. We have had top 5 for a few years, you obviously don't pay attention to anything with this program

Every softball thread is salty now a days. I am surprised this thread hasn't turned into a Dawson thread, every other one does.

This guy right here gets it. Playing in the SEC gives you all the RPI you need. The first RPI came out 2 days ago and ALL 13 SEC TEAMS are at 45 or better. Coupled with a good non-conference schedule, LSU's strength of schedule is just fine without playing the dipshits to the west...

She has been my favorite player for the past few years. I hate to see her go after this season.

If we win the series we should win, LSU will finish as a national seed by the end of the season with our SOS. This team is actually in a pretty good position.

Agreed. We don't have to play Florida and the road series with Auburn is behind us. The key is to not get swept in any series. We got swept twice last year at home...Kentucky and Florida. If we get just one game in each of those series, we are probably top 8 instead of 11.

We also dont play kentucky, they have always been tough. To be honest, I still think Auburn is better than Alabama.I have watched Alabama all this year. Alabama really hasn't played too tough of a schedule. They are definitely beatable. I laughed so hard that one poll gave them a first place vote. Plus they really are a one pitcher team, little john is solid but when she faces a team with a pulse she gets beat up on.

I mean last year, we got swept at home twice, and lost a series to A&M on the road and we still almost became a national seed. Just continue to win and we will be in good position.
