He is the exact build of QB we have struggled with (Cam, Matt Jones, Wallace, etc.) We tend to do better with the Johnny Football, Tyshawn Taylor, Nick Marshall, etc. Should make for a good matchup.

Take Cam off your list. Makes you look a little silly.

Take ALL of them off your list. Dude was playing safety last year, last QBd for Arizona....Western.

And Cam didn't beat us. AUs defense did, or better, our offense.

Matt Jones???? Come on man...that was over a friggin DECADE ago. We've had a few DCs come and go since then.

Yeah, when I think of Cam Newton and Matt Jones...it's their size that stands out.

Bo Wallace? WTF?

Last year when TCU switched QBs to their mobile one, it gave the defense some issues. Guess Wisconsin is going to try that tactic out of the gate.

According to his official Wisconsin bio...

*Joined team in summer of 2013 and competed in fall camp as a quarterback before moving to wide receiver for season opener vs. UMass.
*Moved back to quarterback for spring practice in 2014
*Made a tackle vs. Penn State on Nov. 30.
*Enrolled and spent one season at South Carolina before transferring to Arizona Western College after spring practice in 2011.

This should be fun!

According to three sources, the staff has decided to start McEvoy, a redshirt junior who transferred to UW last season from Arizona Western College.

McEvoy worked at quarterback last summer but struggled and was eventually moved to safety. He played 10 games at safety, with three starts, and impressed the defensive coaches.

Our secondary was very green against TCU. And, that defense had real problems in the first half of the season. By the end of the season, they settled down.

Dak Prescott is another one that we have struggled with a bit. He hasn't beaten us, but he has moved the ball well.

We have to shut down Wisconsin's running game first and then make them beat us through the air. Then, our secondary can step in.

And, of course, we have to move the ball ourselves. Pound them with the 4 headed monster at RB behind our huge, veteran OLine and then throw on the run with Jennings/Harris to our WRs streaking down the field. Potential for big plays a plenty.
