TIFWIW
Not sure if it’s been said here yet but I’m hearing

Brennan Might not ever play another down of football again... Hip injury is a lot worse than expected. If he does come back he will be a lot less mobile. Such a terrible situation and I’m wishing the best for Brennan

I never saw the play where he was injured.
Can somebody explain. Exactly when and where he was injured?

If Tua is playing after his injury then there is absolutely zero chance Brennan won’t play again. A torn muscle isn’t going to end someone’s career come on be realistic.

Didn’t see it either. Initially I thought it would be something he gets healthy from in a month or so, but I’ve heard twice today from two different sources that he’s career is in serious jeopardy and if he does come back he will be a statue.

I know literally nothing about medical terms but the term used to describe his injury is “ Degenerative Hip Issue”

Haven’t even taken the time to look up what it means. Too much pain.

Disregarding that this is hearsay, why wouldn't this have been reported initially?

Coaches and docs have nothing to hide in this regard, and if it were more serious I think that we would have heard it sooner and from more than one person.

But this is The Rant, so it wouldn't surprise me if 2 months down the road this is completely true.

Not trying to call bullshite, just saying that I'll wait on more info before I believe this.

Got hit as he was throwing a TD pass to Marshall. It was before he got lit up on the sideline. He tore the muscle that connects his abdomen to his hip/pelvis.

Pretty wild he played an entire 2nd half of football after sustaining that kind of injury

In order for that to happen it would include some kind of break or dislocation that would’ve cut off the blood flow to the hip. We know for a fact that didn’t happen because he didn’t have emergency surgery that night.

There isn’t a doctor/trainer alive that wouldn’t have immediately sent Brennan to the hospital for emergency surgery. He also would’ve been physically incapable of continuing to play the game with an injury that severe.

It’s impossible for him to play an entire 2nd half which is why this is bullshite.

Muscles don’t connect other muscles to bones. Tendons do.

Don't forget we have nuss coming in next year to take this shite over and get us back to where we should be at the qb position. That's with Brennan being here or not. Nuss is the real deal and will be a serious contender for the starting job next season for us. He and walker howard are the future of lsu football at the qb position. We don't necessarily have to hit the portal just bc Brennan may not be here or may not be available to contribute. Though I am a huge proponent of lsu always being on the lookout for anyone that is in the portal that will help us win and compete for titles and to utilize the portal to better our team anyway we can and at any position. Geaux Tigers.

Correct. I was referring to the region of the body. Should’ve been clearer but I don’t know the name of the specific muscle.

But from all sources the only way this could possibly be a career ending injuring is through a severely negligent diagnosis.
