Bad losses in baseball?

Sure, this team hasn't been very consistent at times, especially for so many returnees and especially in mid-week games, but they seem to be coming around at the right time.
But, when you take a closer look at their losses, there are really only 4 that stand out - the 2 losses to NO and the 2 to Tulane. McNeese and S Ala aren't bad teams.
Compare that to UF. There worst losses would have to be losing to Seton Hall and twice to Tenn. They also lost 2 to FGCU, 1 to UCF, 1 Jacksonville, and 1 USF. Oh, and that sweep at the hands of Auburnt.
So it seems UF has the same trouble with those in-state schools that treat their games against the state powerhouse as their World Series, of sorts. 5 losses to 4 in-state schools.
Go figure.

We did this. UFs losses aren't as bad. UFs losses came mostly at the beginning of the year.

Hmmm, interesting. So, UF's (bad) losses were "mostly at the beginning of the year", but LSU's were not?
LSU lost to NO on 2/21 and 3/15 and lost to Tulane on 3/28 and 4/25.
UF lost to JU 2/21, Seton Hall 3/11, UT 4/7 and 4/8, and USF 5/9.
But if those dates are decidedly earlier in the season than LSU's, well, you're the expect.

USF isn't a bad loss at all. They're a top 20 RPI team. Seton Hall was a weekend series they lost a single game 3-2. They won the series. Tennessee isn't a bad loss. They're a top 50 RPI team.

And neither are losses to McNeese and S Ala. Hence my original post that LSU really only has the 4 bad losses - 2 each to NO and Tulane.
JU and FGCU are not great teams but UF lost. UT is a bad team and UF lost twice.
But I'll let it go at that. Like I said, you're the expert. I mean, LSU has NO shot at a top seed! Right?

You retards need to understand the different between top seed and top RPI. Seriously.
If USA isn't a bad loss then neither is Tennessee. Period. 38 RPI vs 42 RPI.

And, I'm not choosing sides, but ell did say rpi, not seed. Just saying.
You're coming off as a huge douche.

1. No. Surprising, my life does not revolve around the amazing el
2. It matters not. Just saying.
3. I really don't care. I'm hardly concerned with how I come off on a message board full of spoiled fans who get upset with every bad play or game, or even decision they think doesn't go the way they want, with LSU always on top. Sports don't work that way, but on TR, if it doesn't, you get a thousand posts on it. So, no, I don't really care. But thanks.

It's pretty simple. UF has 4 losses to RPI teams worse than 50.
2 vs FGCU (57 RPI)
1 vs Seton Hall (81 RPI)
1 vs Jacksonville (80 RPI)
And every one of these losses was over 2 months ago.
LSU has 4 as well.
2 vs UNO (123 RPI)
2 van Tulane (79 RPI)
My comment "aren't as bad" is based on this.

Just want to point out that your longest response by far is about "not caring".
